I just wanted to let you know that I just love my grass. After pushing the mower around for 20 years, I got smart! Now there is NO watering, NO mowing, NO fertilizer, NO hassle. My grass looks perfect 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year. The investment in my grass was the best money I have ever spent. I also thank you for the quality of work and your attention to detail. It is so hard to find contractors that "get it".

The best way I can describe my
lawn is WOW!. I am so glad I had
you put in the lawn. We were
impressed with your
professionalism and knowledge,
and most of all the QUALITY of
your work and product. We have
had many people stop by to look
and examine our grass and have
heard nothing but compliments on
how pretty it is. All were
surprised to see it was not real
grass after touching it. I just
sweep it once in a while to get
some little leafs off that blow
in from the neighbors. Most of
the time the wind just blows the
leaves off the lawn for me. I
like that because saves me time
and I just sweep it once every 4
to 6 weeks. It has stood up to
kids playing on it as well as
just normal walking back and
forth. I am now considering a
putting green for the back yard
as well. Thanks Eric for all
your hard work and help.

In my forty five years of
doing business with a large
majority, I feel that my dealing
with Mr. Eric Meyer was by far
the most enjoyable. I first met
him when I was accepting bids
for a putting green, waterless
grass, and landscaping to
surround my swimming pool. I had
a budget to stick to which
seemed to scare off other
bidders. Eric stayed within my
budget, and in fact came in
under his bid.
Eric’s work ethics were superior
to other people that have done
work for me, such as: a clean
jobsite each day when that days
work was done, a polite
workforce, no loud music
playing, respect for my
property, a detailed cleanup of
jobsite after the job was
finished, and follow up every
few weeks to check on any
problems (there hasn’t been
any).
In conclusion, Mr. Meyer
completed my project, stayed in
budget, and did an excellent
job. I highly recommend him for
any projects he might be bidding
on.

Aquafree Lawns should be
named Care Free Lawns.
Imagine….. no mowing, no pulling
out hoses to water. Yet, it
always looks green and lovely.
We have had our Aquafree Lawn
for almost 3 years and we are
extremely happy. It is soft and
requires nothing more than a
blower used on it once in a
while. It is such a wonderful
thing for us not to have to haul
out the sprinkler and time it
for 15 minutes before going out
and changing the position of it.
And no more mud on our shoes. We
think of the water we would have
saved if we had had Aquafree
Grass installed years ago. And I
must say the crew that installed
it did a wonderful and
conscientious job. We highly

To Whom It May Concern,
I had a room addition added to the back of my home. After construction my yard was a mess. The ground between the new room and the back fence was so steep I couldn’t walk in the yard. I planted grass but it wouldn’t grow and every time it rained the dirt and new grass just washed away. I though that synthetic grass might be an option. Eric, from Aquafree Lawns, looked at my yard and suggested the installation of a retaining wall. He explained that a wall would allow him to cut away the slope and flatten out the yard while providing support for the room addition. During conversations with Eric I really thought his ideas were good. He took a common sense approach and thought about long term use of the space.
Prior to calling Eric, I had scheduled with a deck contractor to build a deck to the left of the room addition. When I commented to Eric that the deck crew had failed to show up for a week, he stepped in and said he could build the deck along with the wall. I showed Eric the sketches the company had provided. Eric quickly saw problems with the design and made suggestions to correct them. Eric’s biggest concerns were that the deck builder was going to place wooden beams in the ground and that the deck had to be strong enough to support a hot tub. Eric thought that wood beams would rot since they’d be buried. To correct both problems, Eric poured concrete beams to support the deck. Now the weight of the hot tub is not a problem and I don’t have to worry about any rot issues.
My backyard is now a mini-vacation spot. The space was totally transformed. I now have a beautiful deck with attached gazebo, retaining wall with terraces and synthetic grass. I wouldn’t change a thing. The area above the wall really extends the deck space and since this area has synthetic grass there’s no maintenance. It really makes the deck seem larger. And now that the slope is gone, there’s flat space below the wall for the kids to play. I’m so happy with my new backyard. I would recommend Eric Meyer and Aquafree Lawns to anyone.

I had the privilege to work
with Aquafree Lawns on a project
at a neighborhood pool area. All
of the area outside the concrete
decking of the pool now has
artificial turf that looks and
feels like real grass. I was
highly impressed with the
quality of the work that was
done; you can tell just by the
quality of the work that it was
installed to last. All of the
individuals that worked on the
project were extremely
professional and I feel that
they went above and beyond the
scope of work that we asked them
to do. If you are looking into
getting artificial turf this is
the only company that I would
consider.

We elected to put in an
Aquafree Lawn for two reasons.
First, my husband and I are
retired and like to travel and
we didn't want to be tied down
to constant yardwork. Second,
with the near certainty of
yearly water rationing in San
Antonio, a green lawn is
impossible to maintain. Eric and
his crew were wonderful to work
with. Eric truly listened to
what we wanted, both in terms of
overall appearance and, more
importantly, in terms of cost.
The yard he designed for us is
everything we asked for, and
once completed, we received a
letter from our Home Owners'
Association complimenting us on
our "Home and Garden"

We hired Aquafree to do
landscaping for our
residence. The reason we
chose to “go with Aquafree”
was the upfront effort
exerted to incorporate minor
points into a written
coherent plan. This design
stage took extra time to
finalize but resulted in
very few last minute
decisions being required
during the production stage.
This was a welcomed relief
to most work we’ve had done
by other contractors. And,
the few on site variances to
the engineered plan were
readily incorporated.
The production phase was
likewise a professional
effort. The installers were
on time every time they were
scheduled to be here. At the
end of the day that worksite
was cleaned up and debris
removed so our evenings were
not interrupted by
construction waste. After
production was finished an
electronic copy of the “As
Built” plan was provided. A
truly professional finish.
In addition to doing a
fantastic job from start to
finish, Eric and his crew
saved our Thanksgiving
Holiday from near ruin. That
week we had a landscaping
crew redoing our entire yard
as well as Aquafree
replacing our live grass
with synthetic. The entire
project was supposed to be
wrapped up on Wednesday just
in time for the Thanksgiving
holiday on Thursday. The
landscaper was behind
schedule and really seemed
disorganized and lacking in
leadership. After installing
the synthetic grass, Eric
took charge of the
landscapers and redirected
them and his own crew to
complete the project. Had he
not stepped in, I’m fairly
certain that the landscapers
would not have completed
their work and Thanksgiving
would have been ruined.
Eric’s ability to get
everyone organized and on
task really saved
Thanksgiving.
We have had many positive
comments from neighbors and
visitors concerning the
final product. More than two
years later it looks as good
as the day it was installed.
I am considering additional
work by Aquafree.
